The brief

BladePWR needed a brand site that felt as sharp as the product. The existing placeholder was fine; the goal was to move past "fine" into something customers would remember, share, and trust.

We were handed a mostly blank slate: early identity, some initial photography, a clear sense of audience. Our job was to translate that into a site that could stand up to scrutiny from anyone landing on it.

The approach

Three priorities, held tight:

  • Performance first. Every design decision was pressure-tested against load time. A 90+ Lighthouse score was non-negotiable.
  • Editorial feel, not SaaS template. Most performance brands default to glossy renders and gradient hero shots. We went the other way, real typography, real spacing, real restraint.
  • Built to be updated. The client needed to make changes without us in the loop. We structured the codebase so copy edits, new images, and product updates were straightforward.

What shipped

Full brand site launched and live at bladepwr.com. Custom design system, responsive across every breakpoint, built on a static stack deployed to a CDN for instant global load times. Zero runtime dependencies, zero tracking beyond a privacy-respecting analytics setup.

"Shipped faster and delivered better than the agencies we'd talked to."

What's next

The site is in production and we continue to iterate on it as BladePWR grows. New sections are added as the product evolves. It's the kind of long engagement we prefer, a small site, done well, that gets better every quarter.

Why this project matters

BladePWR is case study number one. Every project we ship in home services onward will be informed by what we learned here: that restraint wins, that performance is a feature, that a small site done exceptionally well outperforms a big site done averagely.
